I don’t know about you, but I am getting in the Spring mood. The days are starting to warm up and I am feeling the need to clean and get ready for Spring. When I do this I also like to freshen up the décor around the house. For me, a few new pillows and accessories can make me one happy girl!

Adding a few bold pillows to your solid sofa or getting an acrylic block to raise the vase on the side table really freshen up the house. Changing out old lamps is another great way to get a clean new look. Colorful lamps add a pop of color. Understated thin lamps give you a more updated look.

While you are cleaning, change out some photos that are in your frames. Maybe, even get a few new frames. Mixing minimal frames with thick interesting ones will create a fresh look to your bookshelves or tables.

My last easy update is changing out entry rugs and mats. They get a little worn after a year’s use and are another easy way to get your house updated for the spring. Add a little color or texture to your mats to will liven up your entryway! 

Accessories make all the difference!  Freshen up the small things and the whole space takes on a new look.
